Supporting
To relieve the distress of women and girls who have experienced or are experiencing sexual
abuse and sexual violence and/or domestic abuse and other forms of harmful practices by
supporting them to access appropriate services.
Educating
To educate and raise awareness of these issues by delivering training and talks in the local community.To support the women and girls to improve their well-being through courses such as improve your mood through Art.
Building social networks
To support the women building social networks by running peer support groups and
connecting them to others they can share similar experiences which in turn helps them to feel more confident to support others themselves.
To identify
To identify areas of unmet needs by working with other agencies and taking appropriate action.
Services
To train to a professional standard all those that will provide services that further the
purposes of the organisation.
Skills and confidence
To build the skills and confidence of the women and girls by supporting them to learn new skills through different activities and by supporting them to volunteer in the local community

Well-Being
To preserve and protect the good mental health of women, in particular but not exclusively those members of the African community, living in Manchester and the surrounding areas by providing and assisting in the provision of facilities and support services.’
